The second series, World In Peril, 1955 followed the adventures of the crew in their first attempt to reach and explore Mars. The story continues with the Earth under threat of invasion and the crew of Discovery being Earth's only hope. This series saw Don Sharp replacing Bruce Beeby as Mitch, with Alfie Bass replacing David Kossoff as Lemmy. Each
half-hour episode ends with a dramatic cliffhanger and will leave you
wanting more.
